Knitted Poppies - Hadlow Remembers

This year marks the 100 years of the end of the First World War.

Hadlow Church is proposing to have a cascade of knitted poppies from the memorial window in the church to mark this event, and for those from the parish who lost their lives in both wars.

The church will be open on Saturday 10th November for people to come and bring their own knitted poppy in memory of a family member who died in the First World War or any subsequent war.

Poppies will also be available in church, for a donation to the Royal British Legion, for you to attach to the cascade.

Look out for details of this event and the knitting pattern in coming issues or contact Rev. Nicky Harvey for details. rev.nickyharvey@gmail.com
