Temporary Road Closure – High House Lane

Temporary Road Closure – High House Lane, Hadlow – from 11 December 2017 for up to 5 days The road will be closed outside “Orchard House”. The alternative route is via Ashes Lane, Higham Lane, Puttenden Road, Hamptons Road and vice versa. The closure is to enable a water pipe renewal to be carried out

M20 Junctions 3 to 5 Smart Motorway In March 2018, there is planning to start work on the M20 between junction 3 near West Malling and junction 5, near Aylesford, to convert this section into a smart motorway, this includes converting the hard shoulder into a permanently running lane and introducing variable mandatory speed limits

Closure of North Farm Tip for 10 weeks

Following a fire last year at the North Farm Tip, KCC need to close the facility to carry out permanent repairs and are taking the opportunity to carry out improvements to prolong the life of the site. The site will be closed from 18 September for around ten weeks. This will impact both on residents
