Shared Access Official Statement

At last night’s Parish Council Meeting, the Planning and Environment Committee recommended to full Council that the current proposed location of the Telecommunications Mast (directly behind the Village Hall at Williams Field) is not acceptable.

The committee had reached its recommendation after considering all aspects of the proposal including consultation with:

Council Solicitor regarding aspects of lease and land ownership

TMBC Planning Department

Fields in Trust (who provided their Telecommunications Policy Statement)

Shared Access/Pegasus as regards results of public consultation

In addition the committee reviewed and considered residents responses to the public consultation and views expressed at the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 13th February together with health & safety concerns and the proposed capital sum.

Hadlow Parish Council accepted the Committee’s recommendation and RESOLVED to inform Shared Access that Council is not prepared to proceed with the current proposed location at Williams Field for the erection of the telecommunication structure.
