Knitted Poppies - Hadlow Remembers

This year marks the 100 years of the end of the First World War.

A knitted poppy cascade is being created in the church to mark the centenary since the end of the first world war.

The church will be open on Saturday 10th November for people to come and bring their own knitted poppy in memory of a family member who died in the First World War or any subsequent war.

Patterns are available in the church or available to download here.

We are also having poppy knit days in the church. Wed. 3rd, 17th and 31st October 1 till 3pm. We can teach you how to knit or crochet them. Coffee provided.

Contact Rev. Nicky Harvey for details. rev.nickyharvey@gmail.com or 852564 for more details and wool.

Poppies will also be available in church, for a donation to the Royal British Legion, for you to attach to the cascade.
