The Queen's Platinum Jubilee 2022

We need YOU to take part in the fun

Friday June 3rd June – PROMS AND PIMMS in St Mary’s Church. An evening of music with a patriotic flavour. Singers, and musicians from the community are welcome to take part.

Saturday June 4th – VILLAGE HALL DANCE 50’s up to date on Vinyl. A Family Affair. Optional period dress!

Sunday 5th June – CARNIVAL PROCESSION at noon. The ‘pseudo’ Queen and her real-life corgi invite you to join the Platinum Parade on Sunday 5th June at Noon starting in the village centre and winding its way to Williams Field (route maps available). We need you to join in the Carnival Fun. Totally inclusive. Can you turn up as members of Royalty? Have you got a 1952 outfit? Can you play an instrument? dance? Have you an unseen talent? Anything goes. Wear what you like, be what you like, perform as you would like. Be inspired. Dress up, dress down, be outrageous. Just be there, please. If you are on the route we need you all to decorate your houses.

Sunday June 5th – VILLAGE PICNIC IN THE PARK from 12 noon at Williams Field. Family fun, beer tent, bouncy castles.

JUBILEE WORDSEARCH. All primary school age children will be invited to take part and will be awarded a Platinum Jubilee Medal for completing it.

• Natty Knitters want you to KNIT BUNTING. Join them at Café Plus, every 2nd & 4th Wednesday 1-3 pm in St Mary’s.
