Community News

Buddy System

This is working very well. We have 10 volunteer ‘buddies’ in Golden Green looking after 12 buddy ‘clients’. In addition, I know that there are many other residents who are doing shopping for neighbours so the community is coming together well. If anybody else needs help from the system, they should contact Mel at the parish office (851878).

Update on The Bell

We’re all looking forward to the opportunity to ‘mix’ again! So here is a message from the ‘new’ Bell Inn: “As many of you have seen, the Bell Inn is undergoing a light refurbishment. Our intention is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone of all ages. We have already received fantastic feedback from the Facebook page and from local residents walking past. We would like to thank the people within the local community who are giving us much needed help.” Clare Justin and Nigel.
