Golden Green Annual Lunch

Cooks cooked, helpers helped, washers-up washed and dried, and diners dined. It all came together, thanks to Linda Daker’s superb organisation, in another successful annual lunch and social event enjoyed by 58 residents and guests. Grateful thanks to all who participated. One special guest was Jill Anderson, who was given a presentation on her retirement as TMBC borough councillor for over 30 years. The raffle proceeds went to the Air Ambulance …. although it was sad to see it needing to be deployed in the field behind the hall this week because of a demolition accident on a home in Bourne Park.

Bridge

Is anybody interested in playing sociable Bridge? Contact Alec and lets see if we can organise something. Or perhaps other card games … Canasta?
