October Weekend of Fun at The Bell
Pre-booking essential: please contact 07940 250644

After the amazing success of our Family Day on the 19th September, we have another fun-filled weekend on the 30th and 31st of October:

Saturday 30th October is traditional pie and mash day, with liquor or gravy and a good old knees-up with the famous cockney singalong king Mr Tom Carradine (look him up on YouTube): “Roll out the barrel”, “Daisy Daisy” – the list goes on. The Royal West Kent Regiment Living History Group will be here to create a Great Wartime atmosphere, while helping raise money for needed charities.

Sunday 31st October is another Family Fun Day but this one has a touch of Halloween! Scary-face painting, fancy dress with a prize for every child in fancy dress, apple bobbing and other games, bouncy castle, market stalls, cake stall, candle stall, kids’ sweets stall, Royal West Kent living history group with their show and tell, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and jacket potatoes.

It was fantastic to have seen so many new, local faces on the last Family Fun Day. We look forward to greeting you all at this one.

GG Coffee Gathering

Thursdays 10am-12pm at The Bell

Social gathering with free refreshments. Bring your own mug. We will continue into October while the weather holds but will then probably take a break until the spring.

Macmillan Coffee Morning: A big thank you to everybody who ate cakes or made cakes or bought cakes and donated. We raised £170 for Macmillan nurses which was a great result. Well done!
