Reimagining community health services
NHS Kent and Medway are wanting to improve community health services, which help adults and children get well and stay well, either in their own home or at out-of-hospital settings near their home. They are a critical part of health and care, working closely with general practice and alongside hospitals.
We would like to hear people’s views and experiences on community health services to help shape our plans to improve services across Kent and Medway. We want to hear from as many people as possible. All of the information about community health services can be found on our NHS Kent and Medway community health services web page (opens in new tab), where you will find two surveys, one for adult community health services and one for children’s community health services.
We are also planning to hold events in person across Kent and Medway, and online in July. We would like to invite you to the event being held in east Kent on:
Wednesday 17 July 1.30pm – 4pm Old Sessions House, Canterbury Christ Church University, Longport, Canterbury CT1 1PH
You can register online using our free ticket platform (opens in new tab).
We are holding an online event in case people are unable to make the face to face events, which will take place on Monday 15 July from 6pm to 8pm. And you can register by using our free ticket platform (opens in new tab).
At this event, we will be focusing the discussions on community health services for adults. If you are unable to attend this event, you can register for other face to face events or our online events to discuss community health services for children and young people by going to NHS Kent and Medway community health services (opens in new tab).
If you need any further information, please contact us at kmicb.engagecomms@nhs.net and hope you’re all well.
