Residents of Tonbridge are being consulted about plans for a new town council.
Currently Tonbridge is the only area of the borough without a town or parish council but that could change.
Leaflets will be posted to homes in Tonbridge outlining what’s happening and what it would mean for residents. If the proposal is approved, the new body could take responsibility for some local services, which are currently managed by the borough council.
The consultation runs until Monday 14 July.
