Golden Green Annual Residents’ Lunch 2024

Steak & mushroom pie, chicken & leek pie, shepherd’s pie and veg – is your mouth watering yet? Those were the delicious choices facing our hungry diners last month. And that’s before they got to the gorgeous desserts! Our VIPs joining the residents and other guests included Mayor James Lark and Jill Lark, who suggested Arthur’s Quest as one of the charities benefitting from the proceeds of the raffle. (The Mayor’s chosen charity this year, it supports the families of children with a rare genetic disorder.) The mental health charity Mind and Folly Wildlife Rescue near Edenbridge were also nominated. Thank you to everyone who made it so successful – the diners, the helpers and especially Linda Daker who does such a superb job of organising the event.
