Golden Green Summer Outing
Tuesday 13 August
We will be going to Whitstable on Tuesday 13 August. Meet 10.00am at the Golden Green Hall. Return by 4.30pm. Cost £3 if you live in the village or £6 for local friends. All welcome.
Strength and Mobility Class
Mondays 10.30-12 noon Mission Hall
Improve your balance or gain mobility and strengthen your muscles with a fully qualified instructor, followed by refreshments. Classes are mainly seated and you do as much as you can. Contact: Pat 850739 for info or just come along. £4 per person for class, a cuppa and a biscuit; £6 for a couple.

GG Road Closures
Hartlake Road will be closed for one day on Monday 22 July between 9.30am and 3.30pm for pole testing works carried out by OpenReach
Three Elm Lane is scheduled to be closed outside Bell Cottages on Tuesday 30 July from 7am to 7pm until Thursday 1 August for remedial works by UK Power Networks
Golden Green Summer Fete
We couldn’t have asked for better weather for last month’s fete – not too hot, not too windy. There was a steady flow of people all afternoon enjoying the entertainment and the gorgeous food and drink on offer. The successful outcome wouldn’t have been possible without the help of so many people – too many to name individually but in particular our GGA Chair Alec. Over £1200 was raised towards hall maintenance and village events. Thank you to everyone who participated.
