Golden Green Carol Service
Sunday 22 December from 3.45pm Mission Hall
Carols this year will be accompanied by a brass group in a change from Pat’s clarinet group. They will start playing festive music from 3.45pm so get there early. Alec is always on the look-out for people to read (and ideas of what to read), so please get in touch.
Golden Green Outing to Canterbury Christmas Market
Tuesday 19 November 10am pickup outside Mission Hall; return around 3.15pm; £8pp
We have booked two minibuses to take us to the Christmas market in Canterbury, which should be fun. There are still a couple of spaces available. Contact Alec (01732 850739).
Gift Market @ The Bell

Bacchus Wind Orchestra Concert
Sunday 17 November 2.30pm St Mary’s Church, Hadlow
Pat and Alec Pelmore are playing in a fun concert with the ever-popular Bacchus Wind Orchestra. Refreshments and free admission (with donations to church and band funds gratefully received).
Strength and Mobility Class
Mondays 10.30-12 noon Mission Hall
Improve your balance or gain mobility and strengthen your muscles with a fully qualified instructor, followed by refreshments. Classes are mainly seated and you do as much as you can. Contact: Pat 850739 for info or just come along. £4 per person for class, a cuppa and a biscuit; £6 for a couple.

Road Closures
Hartlake Road will be closed 7-8 November for carriageway repairs by KCC. There will also be temporary traffic lights on Tudeley Road on 8 November for works by Openreach. Blackmans Lane will be closed between the junctions of A26 Tonbridge Road and Three Elm Lane on 11 November for one day owing to drainage works by KCC. Temporary traffic lights are scheduled on Three Elm Lane at the junction with Blackmans Lane from 15-19 November for pothole repairs by KCC.
More information including diversion routes can be found on the traffic map at https://one.network/ though we can’t guarantee that it’s up to date! Any deviation from the dates given are down to the contractor(s) concerned.
