The Tonbridge Road between Cuckoo Lane and Ashes Lane continues to have temporary traffic lights until 10 November until the completion of Phase 2 of the footway installation from Haywards Farm Shop heading northeast as far as Public Right of Way MT145. Subsequently the traffic lights will remain while the drains are cleaned on 12-13 November.

Temporary traffic lights are scheduled for Hadlow High Street on 12 November from 9.30am to 3.30pm for works by OpenReach. Also on 11-12 November, KCC will be replacing a street light near the junction with Carpenters Lane.

Hartlake Road will be closed near the junction with Three Elm Lane from 19-21 November for maintenance works on the pumping station by Southern Water; and closed again on 6-7 January by the railway bridge for works by OpenReach.

Victoria Road will be closed on 4 December from 9.30am-3.30pm for pole-testing works by OpenReach.

Blackmans Lane is scheduled to be closed from 16-17 December for works by OpenReach.

A21 roadworks and overnight closures will continue on various dates. (See the traffic map at https://one.network/ for more details).

More information including diversion routes can be found on the traffic map at https://one.network/ though we can’t guarantee that it’s up to date! Any deviation from the dates given are down to the contractor(s) concerned.

You can report non-urgent problems with roads and pavements to KCC online at https://www.kent.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/report-a-problem. This includes street light faults, potholes, drainage, traffic signal faults and overgrown vegetation (including hedges and grass).
