Dear Residents
I am writing to give you an update on the work we have been completing at Hadlow College recently.
You may have noticed we have renewed the fences around the farm estate and changed the use from arable to livestock. We have also put up a number of signs to highlight which fields are private. We do ask for the public to only access the fields by the designated public rights of way and must not deviate from these. These are noted on the map we have shared.
Unfortunately, we have had a number of incidents of signs being removed and dog walkers using the fields other than via the designated right of way. This has included unleashed dogs in fields containing sheep.
It has also been noted that some members of the public are accessing the main campus other than via Bourne Grange Lane. This presents a safeguarding risk at the College, and we ask that you only keep to designated public rights of way.
We will continue to work positively with the community but must insist that the public only use our land via the designated public rights of way and that dogs must be on leads where livestock is present.
Kind regards
Chris Lydon
